What is an RSS feed? RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication It allows information to be published in a standard XML format that can be access via a Web address. What are RSS newsfeeds used for? RSS is used by (among other things) news Web sites, weblogs, schools, and podcasting. Web feeds provide web content together with links to the full versions of the content.
